About Our Workshop

Our shoe repair workshop opened in Manchester in 2008, when a small team of craftsmen decided to bring traditional cobbling techniques back to the community. What started as a single workbench in a modest space has grown into a trusted service center where residents bring their footwear for restoration and care.

We established this business because we noticed how many people were discarding shoes that could easily be repaired. The throwaway culture didn't sit right with us, so we set out to offer an alternative.

What We Stand For

Our workshop operates on straightforward principles. We fix shoes properly, using materials that last. When a customer brings in a worn pair of boots or damaged heels, we assess what needs doing and provide an honest estimate.

We believe in extending the life of footwear rather than encouraging constant replacement. This approach saves money for our customers and reduces waste.

Our Experience

Over 15 years in business, we've handled thousands of repairs across all types of footwear. From resoling leather dress shoes to replacing zippers on boots, our team has developed skills across multiple repair categories.

We work with leather, suede, synthetic materials, and various sole types. Each material requires different tools and techniques, which our staff has learned through hands-on practice.

Core Principles

  • Transparent pricing with written estimates before any work begins
  • Use of durable materials sourced from established UK suppliers
  • Completion timeframes that we actually meet, typically 3-5 working days
  • Staff trained in both traditional cobbling methods and modern repair techniques
  • Clear communication about what can and cannot be fixed

We serve customers throughout Greater Manchester, including Salford, Stockport, and surrounding areas. Our workshop remains a place where skilled repair work is done properly, without unnecessary complications or inflated promises.
